Walking for the pleasure and enjoyment of the countryside.
Our walks are normally circular & start at 10.00 am. Monday walks are normally about 2 hours 4-5 miles. Sunday walks are a bit longer at 5-6 miles.
We ask walkers to comply with any Covid precautions being recommended by the Government guidelines at the time. We may also put in place any additional measures we feel appropriate for your safety and the safety of others.
Names and contact details of all walkers will be taken and recorded until further notice.
Please do not attend any club events if you are feeling unwell, have any Covid symptoms, have tested positive or should be self isolating. Please be sure to let us know if you test Covid positive shortly after attending a walk.
Well behaved dogs, on a short lead are welcome, unless stated otherwise in the walk description.

Jean has once again organised a lovely Christmas dinner for us at the Prince of Wales Pub, 8 Northampton Road, Bromham. MK43 8PE. 12 for 12.30 sit down, the dinner is open to all Sunday and Monday walkers and a guest.2 Courses £20.95 / 3 Courses £24.95, a deposit of £10 per person to be paid as soon as possible after booking, if you wish to pay in full in one go that is fine. Balance to be paid by 30th November, after which no refunds will be paid as the final order will have been placed with the Prince of Wales.

Sunday 2nd October – Meet at 10am at Harrold Country Park, through Harrold, up Orchard Lane towards Bozeat, then heading towards Odell Great Wood, through Odell Great Wood back to the Country Park. 5 3/4 miles, taking about 2 3/4 hours including a 10 minute stop. Monday 3rd October – Meet at 10am in Castle Gardens, Kimbolton for this 5 mile walk. If spaces are limited you may have to go past Castle Gardens and onto the B660 towards Catworth, then park in Newtown Lane on the right. We walk by a track and grass field margins to Wood End and return similarly, apart from crossing one field, to Stonely, then on to Kimbolton. Sunday 9th October – Meet at 10am at The Green at Marston Moretaine. The walk goes from St Mary’s Church to Lidlington and returns via the Millennium Country Park. It is about 5.5 miles and is mainly flat with no stiles.Refreshments are available at the Forest Centre near the end of the walk. Postcode: MK43 0NF. LEADER: Michael. Mob: 07505 731114
Monday 10th October – Meet at 10am at the recreation ground Olney. Approximately 4 miles crossing meadows and up towards Clifton Reynes, through the village returning along the river to the recreation ground. Sunday 23rd October – Meet at 10am – Starting from Mowsbury Park (Wentworth Drive) we will head out through Putnoe woods and then towards Renhold. After some road walking we take the path up to the Hill Fort where there are great views across the countryside. We then return through Mowsbury Park. Monday 14th November – Meet at 10am at St Mary’s Church in Everton. The walk is a 4.5 circular walk mostly over firm pathways but some slopes through a few gates but no stiles. The walk includes a visit to the site of the former RAF base at Tempsford and the memorial to those involved on ‘special duties’ during WWII. Peter Bennett will give us a brief history of the field.
