Walking for the pleasure and enjoyment of the countryside.

Our walks are normally circular & start at 10.00 am. Monday walk leader is Bev 01234 768974 unless stated otherwise. Monday walks are normally about 2 hours 4-5 miles. Sunday walks are a bit longer at 5-6 miles.

Well behaved dogs, on a short lead are welcome, unless stated otherwise in the walk description.

Sunday 1st March—Radwell.  Meeting at 10am for a pleasant circular walk of approximately 5 miles in a variety of landscape settings including Pavenham Golf Course and the River Ouse. Sunday 8th March.10.00 Woburn. 5 – 5.5 mile circular walk starting at St Marys Church in Woburn round beautiful countryside with splendid views, followed by a coffee in the lovely high Street. Parking in free car park opposite St Mays Church, Park Street Woburn MK17 9PG.

Friday March 20th  Are you free and would like to come on a visit to Bletchley Park? Home of the World War Two Codebreakers. Entry tickets are £19.00 if booked in advance or £20 on the day or £16.60  if booked in advance or £17.50 on the day for over 60’s with valid ID. Monday 13th April 10.00. EASTER MONDAY Rose & Crown, 89 High Street, Ridgemont, MK43 0TY. Maybe a new walk.

Sunday 19th April 10.00 – Langford meadows and Stamford Lock, a pretty 6 mile walk following the River Ivel past lakes and onto Henlow Common and Langford Meadows, a local nature reserve. This may be muddy due to the time of the year. Meet at 10am two roads up from St Mary’s Church, Henlow if coming from the High Street. It is called Gardeners Lane and has a car park at the end. Monday 20th  April 10.00. The Flying Horse, 2 The Green, Clophill MK45 4AD. Walking towards old St. Mary’s Church, up through The Slade across rolling meadows with lovely views. Tuesday 12th May 10.00 am. A visit to the The Military Intelligence Museum at Chicksands. The Military Intelligence Museum displays key elements of the history of British Military Intelligence from the Crimea War onwards. Places must be booked in advance (by 1st May.) Please see further details.
