Walking for the pleasure and enjoyment of the countryside, the club offers a variety of walking groups to cater for most abilities.
Our walks are normally circular and start at 10.00 a.m.
Monday walks are usually about 2 hours and around 4 – 5 miles. Sunday walks are longer at 5-6 miles. For those walkers who prefer a less challenging option the Leisurely Strollers programme is designed to be shorter and also takes place on a Monday at 10.a.m.
Well behaved dogs, on a short lead are welcome on all groups, unless stated otherwise in the walk description.

Date for diaries – Monday 30th November Christmas Meal at Stagsden Golf course. Details have been emailed out. We will be joining the B’ramblers again this year.

Monday 9th November – Meet at 10 a.m at The Archers Rest for this 5 mile walk through Great Denham’s Riverside Park, Wootton’s Ridgeway Woods and the woodlands of Wood End and Kempston Rural. Sunday 15th November -Meet at 10.00am in the car park opposite to St Mary’s Church in Woburn. The walk goes into Woburn Park and past the Safari Park. Then the route turns towards Aspley Guise, and returns through Birchmoor Green and Woburn High Street. The distance is just over six miles and there are no stiles. Postcode: MK17 9PG. Sunday 22th November – meet at 10 a.m at Harrold Country Park for this just over 5 mile walk. [Don’t forget a donation towards the parking.] The walk goes over to Odell Great Wood via Church Lane, along Yelnow Lane, past Yelnow Farm then through the woods followed by fields back to Harrold country Park.
