Walking for the pleasure and enjoyment of the countryside.
Our walks are normally circular & start at 10.00 am. Monday walks are usually about 2 hours and around 4 miles. Sunday walks may be a bit longer at 5-6 miles.

We ask walkers to comply with any Covid precautions being recommended by the Government at the time. We may also put in place any additional measures we feel appropriate for your safety and the safety of others. Names and contact details of all walkers will be taken and recorded by the walk leader.
Please do not attend any club events if you are feeling unwell, have any Covid symptoms, have tested positive or should be self isolating. Please be sure to let us know if you test Covid positive shortly after attending a walk.
Well behaved dogs, on a short lead are welcome, unless stated otherwise in the walk description.

December 2022

Sunday 4th December – Meet at 10am at the free Visitor Centre car park, Paxton Pits Nature Reserve, High St, Little Paxton.  A bit further than the Monday walk here a couple of weeks ago. This is about 5 miles through a rich mosaic of wildlife habitats, with beautiful lakes, riverside, meadow, reed beds, scrub and woodland. A mixture of hard surface paths and some potentially muddy tracks. No hills or stiles. Toilets and cafe at the start & end if open.  Postcode: PE19 6ET. (Clicking postcode should open Google maps) LEADER: Gerry.  Mob: 07902 451123

Monday 5th December – Meet at 10am at the Fox and Hounds, Riseley.  The pub is now closed on Mondays but we may use the car park.  This time we loop anti-clockwise to the north-west of Riseley via Lady Wood and Worley Wood, about 5 miles on grass, concrete, farm track, field margins and a dash of mud.  There are some good viewpoints – if it doesn’t rain. Postcode:  MK44 1DT.   LEADER:  Geoff.   Mob:  07962 580716.

Sunday 11th December – Meet at 10am  for an easy walk starting from Blunham, walking towards Great Barford. We return to Blunham using footpaths and the cycle track. The walk is just under 5 miles, and should be relatively mud free with one stile. Please park near the triangle in Blunham. Postcode: MK44 3NW.  LEADER: Brenda. Mob: 07934 240325
