Sunday 17th July 2pm. Chicksands Priory. It takes about an hour and fifteen minutes to go around the Priory after which there will be a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit and the chance to see the Walled Garden (weather & time permitting). We are planning to hold our morning walk in the Chicksands area but starting a little later, probably around 10.30 followed by an optional picnic in the area before our visit to the Priory. Please register your interest here.
For information, there a couple of large steps on the ground floor and only stairs to the upper floor in the Priory should any of you have difficulty in walking – and we do ask that there is no photography or audio recording inside the building.
There will be a small selection of souvenirs on sale (sorry, only by cash or cheque at the moment) in the Priory, providing you with a memento of a very special visit to a beautiful building.
