Programme of walks & events

Walking for the pleasure and enjoyment of the countryside, the club offers a variety of walking groups to cater for most abilities.
Our walks are normally circular and start at 10.00 a.m. 

Monday walks are usually about 2 hours and around 4 – 5 miles. Sunday walks are longer at 5-6 miles. For those walkers who prefer a less challenging option the Leisurely Strollers programme is designed to be shorter and also takes place on a Monday at 10.a.m.

Well behaved dogs, on a short lead are welcome on all groups, unless stated otherwise in the walk description.

Sunday 5th July – Meet at Swineshead Church for the approximately 5 mile walk.  Commencing along Sandye Lane and then following the green lane to the woods. We will visit Spanoak Wood first and then Swineshead Wood, so as to keep the latter part of the walk mainly in woodland, which will be cooler.
