Tues 12 May 10.00 am. A visit to the The Military Intelligence Museum at Chicksands. The Military Intelligence Museum displays key elements of the history of British Military Intelligence from the Crimea War onwards.
The central focus of the museum is the Intelligence Corps, the British Army Corps responsible for gathering intelligence and their collection includes a great many objects and special exhibits about its history.
Another key collection housed in the museum is the Medmenham Collection devoted to aerial photography and imagery analysis. This highlights the use of 3D imagery, initially in the first World War and then again with huge success in later years, during World War II and the Cold War.
The museum needs to know numbers and details of persons coming, photo ID will also be required. If you are interested please let Liz know either by phone or email by the beginning of May at the latest. Link to their website.
