Kellys EyeSATURDAY 12 JANUARY – Barn Dance at Oakley Village Hall.  A very enjoyable evening was spent at Oakley Village Hall when about 55 people danced to the music of “Kelly’s Eye”.

Organizer John said “I really enjoy barn dances, the communal activity of people having a great deal of fun in learning new dances or remembering with great pleasure the dances they have done for many years.”

Death by Design

What happens when you mix the brilliant wit of Noel Coward with the intricate plotting of Agatha Christie? Written by Rob Urbinati and first performed in 2013 this play is a delightful tribute to two of the greatest practitioners of their art. Edward Bennett, a playwright, and his actress wife Sorel flee to their country house after a disastrous opening night in the West End. Various guests arrive unexpectedly and chaos ensues when one of them is murdered. It is left to Bridgit, the maid with a macabre interest in murder, to solve the crime.

They promise a hugely enjoyable evening of murder, mystery and salad. Note that this show is suitable for children 12+.
